Parking lot car break-ins and locker room thefts seem to be weekly occurrences at the Wilton YMCA. Occasionally the perpetrators are caught and prosecuted but it does indicate that criminals see this facility as an easy mark. At some point the administration at Wilton Y should consider legitimate security products and procedures for the safety and well being of it's members.

Perhaps the answer might be students or visitors to Wilton HS as I frequently see cars being parked in the lower Y lot and people then walking toward the High School. But, yes it does seem that despite the frequent warnings at the Y the burglaries still happen.

Doubtful. Criminals from Bridgeport were hitting the YMCA and a local tennis facility. They were eventually apprehended by security video devises at the other location-due to the lack of security they will continue to visit the "Y" until serious measures are implemented.
