More About Wilton High School
Wilton High School (WHS) defines itself as "a community of learners dedicated to academic and personal excellence." It has a reputation as a top public school, with 87 percent of its senior class going on to a four-year college, and mean SAT scores well above the national average.
WHS offers a wide curriculum and has specific graduation requirements for its approximately 1,300 students. They must complete various numbers of courses in the Humanities, Sciences, Applied Arts, Physical Education, and Electives disciplines, all designed to prepare students adequately for college. In addition, there are a number of extracurricular clubs, activities and sports teams.
Wilton High is governed by the Board of Education, headed by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Gary Richards. Its staff is composed of Principal Timothy Canty, Associate Principal Robert O'Donnell, Assistant Principal Maria Coleman, Assistant Principal Linda Ciliberti and Director of Athletics Christy Hayes.
