Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk, Inc. (JLSN), begins its Fall 2010 Provisional Class for women interested in becoming members of this internationally recognized, non-profit, women's volunteer organization beginning 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at its headquarters at 748 Post Road in Darien. 

Since 1923, JLSN has responded continually to community needs in Stamford, Norwalk, Darien, New Canaan, Wilton, Weston, Westport and Ridgefield. 

JLSN affords a multitude of opportunities for women to network personally and professionally.  The organization trains its members to become effective community volunteers, advocates and leaders.  

Members reside in all towns in the JLSN service area, and no sponsors are required.  Women new to JLSN participate in a provisional class that serves as an introduction to the organization and its community efforts.

The Fall 2010 Provisional Class will meet from 7–9 p.m. on the following dates:

• Wednesday, Sept. 15
• Thursday, Sept. 30
• Wednesday, Oct. 13
• Monday Oct. 25
• Tuesday, Nov. 10
