Hot Weather, Mother Goose, and Scientist Discusses Climate Change

  • Thursday, Sept. 12, CT Audubon's 115th Annual Meeting: Climate Change is Falling on Deaf Ears and how to make the challenge relatable on a local level, in Southport at the Pequot Library at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
  • Mother Goose on the Loose at Wilton Library. Thursdays beginning Sept. 12 (through Nov. 14)  10:15a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
Mother Goose on the Loose is a themed story time for children ages 6 months to 2 years old. Children will sing songs, listen to stories, move to music, and learn nursery rhymes. Mother Goose on the Loose is a research-based program intended to help infants and toddlers develop early literacy skills in an active and fun environment. Felt boards, puppets, instruments, and props will be used. **Please note—in an effort to create a small, consistent group experience, this program uses a lottery system for registration.
