Adopted!-Gypsy Wandered Out of the Zoo and Seeks a Forever Home!

Come to Animals in Distress at 238 Danbury Road in Wilton on Saturday, 1:00pm - 4:00pm, and meet this beautiful, friendly girl who simply wants a forever home.

Who does this comical, endearing face belong to? If you guessed a Sesame Street character you guessed wrong! This lovely lady is Gypsy.

Discarded at the Beardsley Zoo to fend for herself, Gypsy chose to huddle with a small, managed colony of ferals. It was that or the tigers!

When the person who fed the other cats realized this new cat was very friendly, she scooped her up and found her a place at our shelter.

Lucky for Gypsy, as she was not at all interested in sharing her meals with the lions or tigers or bears!

This fabulous young lady wants nothing more than to curl up in front of a big window to watch the birds or perhaps on the couch to watch TV with her new family. She is a mellow long hair torti/calico that is as sweet as pie. Give her a little scratch behind the ears and she's yours for life! Come see for yourself, she's waiting for you!
