Donated Time: Scott Tait of Tait Heating & Cooling LLC of Wilton Installed the New Shelter Heating Unit

HEATING UNIT UPDATE:

We're sure you're all wondering what ever happened with our heating issue at the shelter.
Well, with all of your generous donations we were able to order a brand new unit.  Unfortunately, it had to come from Texas which, for some reason, took A VERY LONG time.  When it finally arrived our joy was short lived, as we found it had been damaged in transit and could not be installed.  The company was horrified and stepped up to have another unit delivered, IN A WEEK this time (don't ask, we have no idea what happened with the first unit and why in the world it took SO LONG to get to us).
The day before the big snowstorm our new unit arrived. We were on the spot to inspect it!  It looked perfect!
Now, back when our heater first conked out on us, Scott Tait of TAIT HEATING AND COOLING LLC  in Wilton, had offered to help however he could.  So, one phone call later Scott was at the shelter to install the unit for us!  These units are like gigantic window AC units.  There was no way we were going to do this ourselves AND get rid of the old unit.  Scott took care of it all, PRONTO!
So, all the kitties at the shelter, are now enjoying warmth again, and all the volunteers who make up Animals In Distress send out a HUGE THANK YOU to Scott Tait!  And, HIGHLY recommend giving this great guy a call with your own heating or cooling issues!  He knows his stuff, is courteous and professional and an all- around nice guy!
THANK YOU to everyone who helped get us through this trying winter with either your monetary donations or blankets and heaters or extra food to help keep the kitties warm.  We are eternally grateful for your support!
