Wilton Chamber Appoints New Executive Director

The announced that Janeen Leppert has been named Executive Director after serving for the past six months as Office Administrator for the organization.

Chamber President Ralph Slater said, “We are delighted to have Janeen on board as Executive Director.  She has proven to be a real asset to the Chamber over the last several months coordinating some of our major fundraisers and community events, as well as addressing the needs of our members. As we move into a very busy season of Chamber activities, having Janeen as Executive Director will give us the momentum and administrative support necessary for success.”

"I am thrilled to accept this position and look forward to continuing to meet all of our valued members," said Ms. Leppert. "I hope local business owners and people throughout the community will stop by the Chamber office or contact me to visit them. I’m anxious to hear questions or comments about doing business in Wilton and how the Chamber can best serve your needs. We’re always looking for ways to improve the commercial climate in town, and your input is extremely important."

Ms. Leppert graduated from High Point University with a major in marketing and a minor in management. She has held positions with The Treppel Group and The Traffic Club Association in Chicago as well as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in North Carolina.
