Wilton Library’s Wine Tasting Benefit & Restaurant Showcase on Thursday, November 29, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. offers the perfect salve to frazzled, storm-weary attendees. The night out benefiting the library offers wines from around the world and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres accompanying the wines from some of the area’s finest restaurants: Barcelona Sono, Bianco Rosso, Bistro 7, Cactus Rose Cantina, Luca Ristorante Italiano, Luca Wine Bar, Market to Table (caterer), Marly’s and Portofino’s. Along with the tastings, guests will be able to take advantage of some very fine offerings courtesy of New Canaan Wine Merchants, organizer of the benefit for the library. Tickets for the fundraiser are $50 per person. The benefit is limited to the first 125 guests.
