Jonathon K. Rosen of Wilton Named Chair-Elect of American Lung Association of the Northeast’s Board of Directors

The American Lung Association of the Northeast has announced that Jonathon Rosen of Wilton is the newest Chair-Elect of its 25-member Board of Directors. The organization serves Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. Rosen is president of Impact Communications, a Wilton-based presentation and media training practice serving executives from the business, nonprofit and public sectors.

“The American Lung Association of the Northeast is honored to have Jon Rosen serve as Chair-Elect of the Northeast Board of Directors,” said Jeff Seyler, President & CEO of the American Lung Association of the Northeast. “Jon has been an important part of the American Lung Association for more than three decades and his passion and enthusiasm for the Lung Association’s mission never falters. We are certain that Jon will excel in this new role.”

Rosen first became a volunteer leader of the American Lung Association 32 years ago in Hudson Valley, New York, where he served as president of the board for four terms. He subsequently served on the board of the American Lung Association in New York. Having lost his father to emphysema, Rosen is all too familiar with the toll that lung disease can take on both the afflicted and their loved ones.
