TechExpo Showcases Information Technology used in Wilton Schools, Tuesday 5:30pm to 7:30pm

How is technology changing the face of education in Wilton Public Schools?  Come learn about the technology that supports the teachers and students in Wilton.  The event will be held at the Wilton High School April 22nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.      

Technology Labs On Focus

This year’s TechExpo will highlight the four High School technology labs: Apple Mac Lab, Video Production Lab, World Language Labs, and the Drafting & Design Lab.  “The learning generated in the technology labs helps students acquire internships and explore potential college pathways." stated Dr. Richard J. Sanzo, Associate Principal Wilton High School.

Tours will take parents to the 4 technology labs and highlight the district's only Macintosh Lab offering advanced professional-grade software applications such as game creation, music and film composition.     

In addition to the labs, teachers and students from all grades will demonstrate the technology in use across the curricular. Returning this year will be 'Youth Innovators', children between the ages of 6 to 18 who are selected to display thier innovative use of technology both inside and outside of school.
