The Wilton Playshop Sponsors Two FAPA Awaard at Wilton High School

Two Wilton Playshop sponsored awards were presented at the FAPA ceremony at the Clune Center of WHS on Wednesday, May 29. The Directors Award is presented each year in recognition of outstanding performance skills and achievement in acting. This year’s recipient, Annie McArdle, possesses great skill and purpose both on stage and off....she has amassed an impressive body of work over the past four years. She has played a nursery rhyme character, a lovesick ingénue, a Shakespearean villain, a high school geek and of course, a cruel and colorful innkeeper who "forgot to be nice"….namely, Madame Thernardier. The Producer’s Award recognizes achievement in technical theater - off stage and behind the scenes. Nora Dominick is a talented stage manager, a treasure who was only discovered in her junior year. But her contribution has been great. She is smart, quick and able to lead even in the most stressful of situations. She can call a perfect show or manage operations backstage flawlessly. She will attend Emerson College in the fall where has been accepted into the very selective program of Screenwriting. Congratulations to the 2013 Director’s and Producer’s Award Winners!
