Flood Advisory Issued for Wilton

NWS predicts rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour and ponding of water on roadways and minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas.

The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in Southern Fairfield County until 11:30am this morning, Thursday. 

At 9:26am the radar indicated thunderstorms with very heavy rain were moving eastward into southern Fairfield County. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour will cause ponding of water on roadways and minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas, according to the NWS.
