It is not legal to walk dogs on the hiking trails at Weir farm.

Can you read? It says they were walking along the road.

If you read the other news reports, there is more detail. The Wilton Bulletin says, "while walking with her new owner in Weir Farm." It is illegal to walk a dog on the hiking trails of Weir Farm.

Let's hope this sweet dog is found quickly. The dog is innocent and afraid. Poor thing.

I am glad the dog was found, especially before all this cold rain started falling. But it also matters that pet owners obey the rules. The world doesn't belong to just pet owners. We share this place. Please, no dogs off leashes and no dogs on Weir Farm hiking trails.
