Metro-North on Wednesday announced that train service would be reduced for the Thursday morning commute due to the expected heavy snowfall. Here's the announcement:

For Thursday, Feb. 13, Metro-North will operate reduced service due to the winter storm with some local and express trains that serve adjacent stations being combined and making additional stops.

This service plan represents 75 percent of our regular service and is based on projected lower ridership and our efforts to minimize the effects of the storm on our equipment and infrastructure.

The combined trains were chosen to minimize customer impacts and to get customers to their destination within 10-15 minutes of their normal time.

See the schedules page for train times. See PDFs of the schedules.

Customers should take care when traveling during inclement weather and allow for additional travel time. Please use caution when entering and exiting trains, and on platforms and staircases.

Also check this website and the news media for updates, listen for station announcements, sign up for email alerts, and download the Metro-North Train Time App for iPhone and Android users.
