Wilton Library Ladies' Soirée Set for its 14th Year

Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013

They love to chat and chill, gather with friends and glam themselves up at Wilton Library’s 14th annual Ladies’ Soirée on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The evening promises laughter and good times along with great food from Bon Appetit Café and wonderful silent auction items for luxuriating, pampering, and refreshing tired soles and souls. All of this plus the sounds of the Darren Litzie Trio to help the ladies push away thoughts about school buses, kids’ college applications and other daily chores and enjoy each others’ company.

This year’s event is being organized by the dynamic duo of Lelei Coyle and Priscilla Thors for the sixth straight year, with returning chairs for the second year Nalini Hage, Kari Roberts and Caitlin Walsh.  Lelei Coyle remarked, “We love creating this fun atmosphere for the ladies of Wilton.  It’s such a great time to come together after the summer, catch-up with old friends, meet new ones and indulge in some wonderful silent auction items while benefiting the library.”

Priscilla Thors added, “This year we’ll offer some terrific surprises, including front row seats to see bestselling author Nelson DeMille, reserved concert seats for an iconic pop/folk singer of the ’60s, Jet Blue tickets, an iPad, an assortment of wines, just to name a few things.  We keep getting more and more wonderful items for the auction as we get closer to the event.”  All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the library.

The evening’s Premiere Sponsors are Wilton Dental Group – Dr and Mrs. Strait, Catherine and Ed Romer—Nod Hill Soap.  The Silver Sponsor is People’s United Bank, and the Media Sponsor is Wilton Magazine.
