Wilton Marijuana Company Exhibits at Colorado Weedstock Conference
A Wilton company that works in the legalized marijuana industry recently exhibited at the first ever "Weedstock" conference in Colorado.
Gold Coast Mining Corporation, a Wilton-based company, announced in a press release that its product suite was well received at the first annual "Weedstock Investor Conference," held on June 29th - July 1, 2014.
Gold Coast of Wilton provides services and products to the legal marijuana industry.
Company CEO Michael Shea said of the conference, "The quality of the conference exhibitors and attendees was extremely high, and I am proud to say that our company showed extremely well. There was significant interest in MJ-Merchant, advertising on the MJ-Xchange and ordering products via our E-Commerce site, 420 Concept. I firmly believe that, as a result of our participation, revenues will increase sharply. The interest in our products came from both attendees and other exhibitors.

On their website the company states: "As more states legalize both medical and recreation marijuana, this multi-billion dollar industry which has operated in the “shadows” will have the same needs as other industries."
Controversy over a legal medical marijuana dispensary has Bethel residents challenging zoning and questioning why officials allowed it to pass without a town vote. The dispensary was originally planned for Georgetown but was denied.
