Wilton Walks: Wilton Garden Club Photo Contest

The Wilton Garden Club is running a “Wilton Walks” photography contest.

Like last year the contest is open to photographers of all ages and aims to inspire residents to go outside and photograph Wilton in every season and every location – from your backyard in winter or spring to your favorite local tree or stone wall to an amazing vista or a lovely spot along the Norwalk River.

All entries will be displayed at Gilbert & Bennett Cultural Center in Georgetown for the months of November and December.

Kristen Begor, co-chair of the Club’s Conservation Committee which is organizing the contest, explained in a release, “The photo contest and calendar were so well received last year that we decided to do it again this year.  This contest is such a great excuse to get outside with your camera and capture your special spots or views and share them with others.  It is a unique way to celebrate Wilton and our amazing outdoors.”

Submissions will be accepted at the G&B Center through October 25th. Photographs may be either black & white or color and must be matted in landscape format.

There is no size limitation on photographs but only 3 entries will be accepted per photographer.  The twelve winning photos will be announced at the Opening Night Reception on Thursday, November 7 at 7pm at the G&B Center.
