Tell us a little about yourself:

I am a mother of three and I am married to my husband, Andrew. I'm from Idaho where I grew up and we've been on the East Coast as long as we've been married, which is twenty-one years. We've lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and finally Connecticut. I am a soccer referee in town. Soccer runs in the family. My husband plays and my daughter has played. We just ran a Memorial Day Match for Nick Madaras. We had a great turnout.

How long have you lived in Wilton?

We've lived here close to seven years.

What keeps you here?

My youngest is in seventh grade and my middle [child] is a freshman in High School. The kids are in school here and the best thing in this town is the soccer community. My husband would kill me if I made him leave!

What is your best memory in Wilton?

I would really have to say the Memorial Day [soccer] Match. That day means so much to all of us. Three teams play. My husband's team, The Ancient Warriors and Nick's old High School team plays. It's the greatest thing. Everybody gets together, laughs and just has a good day. It's powerful. All three teams had a moment of silence for Nick and in that moment it feels like he is there. We were worried about whether or not people would show up, but with the Memorial Day parade cancelled, the stands were filled.

Do you do any volunteer work?

I mentor younger referees. I do a lot of games. I've gone to a lot of regions and state level games. My good friend and I coach the girls high school soccer team on the off season.

What do you do for fun in Wilton?

I play a lot of tennis, I like to run and I am on a co-ed soccer team. I love playing with my kids.
