It's a medium that's more complex than you think and "really never goes away," says Glitter Fairy Laurie Davis of Wilton's Glitter Works Studio.
No one knows that better than Wilton High School Senior Michele Mitchell who interned with Glitter Works this past spring. As a soon-to-be graduate, Mitchell showcased her cards and ornaments created at Glitter Works during Tuesday's Senior Symposium where students presented their projects to the community.
"It was especially fun every day, going home looking like a disco ball," Mitchell said, adding that Davis not only taught her about running a small business but also how hard work and a little sparkle can leave others smiling.
