Six Wilton Artists Exhibit a Dozen Artworks Each at Wilton Library

On Exhibit: 12 X 6 - A showcase of Six Wilton Artists kicks off with a reception, Friday, Nov. 8, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Wilton Library.

Intricate cut paper designs, sculptures, and portraitures are just a sampling of the variety of art works on exhibit for “12 x 6 – A Showcase of Six Wilton Artists,” opening Friday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Wilton Library.

The six artists have exhibited during the Wilton Artists Summer Shows over the years and have been well-received.

The artists are Gini Frank Fischer, Robin Heit, Terrence Lallak, Jeff Lavaty, Day Shields and Erasmo Signore.

The exhibition highlights their diverse styles, media choices and subject matter.

“I asked each of the six artists to provide twelve pieces from their collections, thereby generating a panoply of visual creations to fill the library. It is quite a robust show and very pleasing to the eye. There is something for everyone," said Ed MacEwen, the library’s art chairman.

The exhibit runs through Nov. 29, 2013.
