This Standard Flower Show celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Wilton Garden Club. Arrangements from traditional through abstract will be featured in the "Designing Women" section. Come see wonderful specimens in the horticulture section. A series of free lectures and demonstrations covering an array of design and gardening topics will take place Fri. Sept. 16 and Sat. Sept 17.
Show hours: Thurs. 2-8; Fri. 10-6; Sat. 10-5.
Capping off the event is a Gala on Fri. during 6-9 pm. Tickets start at $50 and may be purchased from Nan Merolla (203.762.7008 or NCMerolla@aol.com). This is a fundraiser to refurbish the garden club's greenhouse at Comstock Community Center.
