On Saturday, December 18th at 6:30 pm, The Wilton Playshop will be staging two one-act adaptations of short stories by humorist David Sedaris. SantaLand Diaries is the funny and irreverent account of David Sedaris' experience working as an elf in Macy's "SantaLand." Director and actor Jackob Hofmann, who is directing the upcoming Playshop production of The Shadow Box, will star in the one-man, one-act play. The adaptation was written by Joe Mantello and has become a seasonal sensation.
Wilton Playshop Executive Producer Janice Dehn will perform Christmas is Giving, another piece written by David Sedaris. Tickets are $20 and $10 for seniors and students.
Before and after the readings, The Playshop will host a special gift boutique offering one of kind gifts from Wilton's "Glitter Fairy" Laurie Davis and from Kate Woodman of Sharp Hill Designs.
