Historical Society Hosts Kids' Day Workshop

Wilton Historical Society's Kids' Day workshop Charlie Gets His Cloak will be presented for first- through third-graders only in two sessions Monday, March 22. The first session will be held 10 a.m. to noon; the second session from 1 to 3 p.m.

The workshop brings literature to life in a hands-on exploration of the children's classic by Tomie dePaola. Through activities and demonstrations, children will participate in step-by-step techniques of how a sheep's haircut is turned into a warm and beautiful garment. Children will take home their very own cardboard loom and a miniature version of Charlie's cloak.

Cost is $8 for members, $10 for non-members. Reservations are required. Register here or contact the historical society at 203-762-7257.
