Library Day Trip to Botanical Garden Train Show

 plans a day trip to New York Botanical Garden's Holiday Train Show departing the library at 9:30 a.m. and returning at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9.

"Wrapped in the glow of twinkling lights, model trains and trolleys enliven the exhibition zipping over bridges and along winding tracks through replicas of 140 New York landmarks," the announcement notes. 

Lunch is on your own (there are two eateries at the Botanical Gardens and Arthur Avenue is close by). The trip cost is $55. Payment must be made with registration Friday, Dec. 3, to reserve a seat.  Refunds will be provided only if your space is filled.
