Their passion for music will touch you. Many come from all throughout Fairfield County. Providing education and outreach, our musicians keep the NSO grounded in a diverse community, in Norwalk and neighboring towns.

They're also donating their time and performances on October 30 to help keep the symphony going in its 71st year.

It's not just another concert.

The Norwalk Symphony Orchestra's season opener benefits the orchestra at a time of serious need. The soft economy has hurt fund-raising, eroded grants and donations and that has hit our bottom line.

So tell your friends and family, tell your colleagues at work, tell your kids and their music teachers to come to the benefit concert and fill the concert hall. Consider giving as generously as you can. Every dollar you give goes toward operations and outreach, and keeps home-grown musicians in the region employed.

Enjoy the video, and come hear classical music this weekend as it should be heard, live in our concert hall.
