The musical AIDA at Immaculate High School

AIDA - Immaculate High School's spring musical!

AIDA will be presented at Immaculate High School on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 PM; Friday, April 29 at 7:30 PM;  and Saturday, April 30 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM.

AIDA, “the timeless love story” is set in ancient times.  Egypt has conquered Nubia. The Egyptian princess Amneris is engaged to the warrior Radames.  But when Aida, the princess of Nubia, comes to the palace as a slave, love turns everything upside down leading people down paths they never imagined.

Winner of the Tony Award for best original musical score and a Grammy for best original cast recording, AIDA has everything: love, jealousy, deceit, palace intrigue, loyalty, betrayal, and even an escape through crocodile infested waters.  Its most important message is the triumph of love over adversity and how it can change everything.

With a musical score drawing from reggae, Motown, gospel and pop styles as well as African and Middle Eastern influences, AIDA is the total musical theater experience.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased at Immaculate's main office.  General admission for the night performances are $15.00 for adults and $12.00 for students and seniors.  There are reserved tickets (numbered seating) for the Thursday, Friday & Saturday night performances for $20.00. There are no reserved tickets for the matinee performance on Saturday. General admission for the matinee are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors.  Call 203-744-1510 for more information.
