The Vein Therapy & Laser Center of Fairfield County Hosts Free Screening

The Vein Therapy & Laser Center of Fairfield County will offer a free varicose vein screening event on Tuesday, March 13 from 3-6 p.m. at its offices at 148 East Ave. in Norwalk.

Open to all adults who suspect they may have issues with issues with the veins in their legs, the event is intended to educate the community about venous disease, risk factors and treatment options.

Attendees will be examined at no cost by a member of the Vein Therapy & Laser Center of Fairfield County’s medical staff.  If additional treatment is suggested, experts will be on hand to go over the various options.  General information about venous disease and its causes will be available at the event.

Widely considered a cosmetic issue, venous disease is a true medical disorder.  Common risk factors for varicose veins and venous reflux include multiple pregnancies, family history, obesity and standing professions.

While there is no cost associated with this screening, pre-registration is required.  To reserve your space, call the Vein Therapy & Laser Center of Fairfield County at 203-855-0167.
