WHS Grooves With 34th Jazz Symposium
High School jazz ensembles from Wilton, Norwalk, Newtown, Greenwich and Fairfield will take part in the WHS 34th Annual Jazz Symposium from 4-9 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the high school's Clune Center. The Berkshire Big Band will perform at 8 p.m. The entire event is free.
School jazz ensembles will strutt their stuff for a panel of evaluators, who will provide feedback following their performance. Drop in for a set or stay all evening.
The symposium will also serve as a collection point for the Play It For Bridgeport Instrument Relocation/Donation program.
