A three-week workshop by Wilton Children's Theater will culminate in two performances of "Once Upon a Mattress," scheduled Thursday and Friday.

Students going into grades seven through 10 learned about various aspects of theater, from acting to set design, under the guidance of guest Summerstage director Mary Jo Duffy.

"This is a workshop format involving the cast in all aspects of the production," according to the Wilton Children's Theater website.

"Once Upon a Mattress" is a fairytale adapted from "The Princess and the Pea." Shows will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday in the Clune Center For The Arts at Wilton High School.

Tickets are available online for $12.60 and at the door one hour before each performance for $12.
