Why are Wilton residents still heading over to Westport and New Canaan to do the majority of their gift and luxury shopping? I understand that we are still a growing little community, but seriously Wilton residents... There are many excellent shops and small businesses right in your own backyard! No paying for parking... No paying another town's revenue... No more traffic... No more impersonal service...
Many small business owners here in Wilton, like myself, take our customers' needs to heart. I make before & after hour appointments for private shopping and services all the time. As do many of my fellow small business owners. I have even begun to open on Sundays from 12pm-4pm, in order to meet the needs of my busy families and their hectic schedules.
So I say to my fellow Wiltonians...
Shop Locally & Avoid The Nightmare On Elm Street!
