Gas Gauge: Lowest Price Around Rises Again, to $3.79
Wilton has only more expensive options this weekend. Let's continue to help each other find the least expensive stations around.
As Wilton Patch does each weekend, we're looking to GasQuest — a frequently updated online listing — for the least expensive gasoline in our area.
After rising to $3.75 , the least expensive gas in the Wilton area jumped again to $3.79 (see table below — and please supplement it with your own finds, in the Comments area).
In Connecticut, the average gallon of regular gasoline held steady at $3.74, according to AAA's "Fuel Gauge Report," with mid-grade at $3.87, premium at $3.98 and diesel at $4.13.

One year ago, a gallon of gas in Connecticut would cost, on average, $2.92, with mid-grade at $3.17, premium at $3.25 and diesel at $3.17.
