Many of our crews, managers and staff played a key role in helping us to earn this prestigious award. In particular, I’d like to acknowledge Adrienne Mitchell, our Garden and Property Manager who manages this 12 acre property, for her leadership and her commitment to the highest quality and service on this challenging, multi-faceted property," said DeMarche in a release. "Winning this award truly shows the positive impact of two of our company’s Core Principles – To Embrace Teamwork and To Continuously Improve. I also want to recognize how fortunate we are to be able to work with such terrific clients who consistently provide clear expectations and show great appreciation for the work that we do to keep their property looking its absolute best.”

LaurelRock’s Modern Homestead project was awarded the prestigious Judge’s Award. This recognition is only awarded when a Grand Award is considered to be exemplary. According to PLANET, “The projects submitted by these companies have already met the stringent requirements for a GRAND Award, the top Landscape Awards of Excellence program category, and were further singled out by the judges as being exemplary in their level of difficulty in execution and the workmanship exhibited.” The LaurelRock Company was also fortunate to win the Judge’s Award for Residential Design/Build in 2005 for a residence in Garrison, NY.

The Audience Choice Award is something new and very similar to a People’s Choice Award. The (4) Judge’s Award recipients (one from each award category) stand on stage while the audience text which project of these four they feel is the best of the best. LaurelRock’s Modern Homestead secured this award as well to close out the evening with yet another win for this entry.
