Pink Sumo Sushi & Sake Cafe Comes to Westport

Capturing the perfect balance of tradition and imagination, Pink Sumo’s menu features more than 30 appetizers and an impressive array of fresh sushi and sashimi.

Pink Sumo Sushi & Sake Cafe will lure you in with its stylish charm, and keep you with its expansive bar and even more expansive menu.

Using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, Pink Sumo’s Sushi Chef—formerly of Nobu—has created a variety of exquisite dishes.

“With so many wonderful dining options open to people, there really isn't room for mediocrity,” said Melissa Park, a representative for Pink Sumo. “People in Westport and in Fairfield County, in general, know what they want and they set the bar high.”

Capturing the perfect balance of tradition and imagination, Pink Sumo’s menu features more than 30 appetizers and an impressive array of fresh sushi and sashimi. Pink Sumo also offers sake drinkers more than 30 types of quality sake.

“We are most excited about being able to share our passion for sushi and sake with people who appreciate fine dining and want something more than just another Japanese restaurant,” Park said.

Pink Sumo & Sushi Café  is set to open in early November and is located at 4 Church Street, across the street from the YMCA and right next to Urban Outfitters.

“We are planning a few events for Pink Sumo after the grand opening that will give people a chance to sample creations from our sushi chef, formerly of the work-renowed Nobu,” Park said  “Westport is home to so many great restaurants and we are excited to be counted among them.”
