Scared to Stroll Amongst Scarecrows?

Wilton Chamber of Commerce sponsors inaugural 'Scarecrow Fest' contest in town center.

Spooky figures popping up in Wilton Center can mean only one thing: the Chamber of Commerce's inaugural 'Scarecrow Fest' is now going on. Co-sponsored by the Town of Wilton, the contest challenged businesses, organizations and families to build creative scarecrows for a two-week outdoor display. With the figures now hanging on fifty of Wilton's lampposts, residents are invited to stroll around town to vote for their favorites and cast ballots at chamber member businesses around town.

Prizes will be awarded to category winners for the scariest, funniest, most creative, most traditional and best overall. Judging will be completed and winners announced at the Pumpkin Parade at 2pm on Saturday, October 29. The scarecrows will remain up until November 5.
