According to LaBant Abrahamsen, the building which will be the new home to Blue Star Bazaar was previously located on Hurlbutt Street and housed a general store with a post office operating from 1891 to 1901.  The building was donated to the Wilton Historical Society in 1964 by Bob Carvutto and moved to Lambert Corners.

"I grew up in Wilton, graduated from Wilton High School, and have returned to town to raise my family and build my business," LaBant Abrahamsen said. "The chance to occupy a historical building here holds special meaning for me.  I am committed to the Town of Wilton and the community here and hope to establish a long term and successful business at 146 Danbury Road."
