Today had a great lunch at the Ponus Yacht Club in Stamford, met a dad with triplets and they're very cute bulldog from Wilton. Great atmosphere, great service, and we both had excellent sandwiches. We had grilled chicken (very moist chicken), gorgonzola and roasted redpeppers on a toasted italian bread Homemade coleslaw, and it WAS NOT drowning in mayo. In addition to the sandwiches we had a cup of bowl of New England Clam Chowder, it was very but LOADED with clams!! There is both inside and outside seating. If you bring your kids you can sit out on the outdoor patio and the kids can watch the boats. After lunch you can go behind Pitney Bowes, there is a park there with a nice playground for the kids to hang out for a while.
