1. THE RUGGED BEAR on Route 7

Deal: Ridgefield's best kept secret for ski and outdoor sporting attire. Located across the street from the Little Pub, this outlet has deep discounts on everything you would find in the retail stores. They have limited hours during the week and on Satudays so call the main store for details.

3. DISCOUNT ON DINNER AND ENTERTAINMENT

Deal: Click here for a coupon for buy one get one free dinner at the Rio Border Cafe in Norwalk. The best part? They provide free, live entertainment in the form of mariachi-style singers who really cater to the kids (so Mom and Dad can actually focus on enjoying their meal!). Singers perform Thursday through Saturday starting at 6 p.m., and Sunday starting at 5 p.m.

4. GROCERY SAVINGS

Deal: Stock up on cereal, soup, and pasta. on Connecticut Avenue has Kellog’s cereal on sale for $1.99 per box, Ronzoni Healthy Harvest pasta is ½ price, and Progresso Traditional Soup is being offered at 4 for $5 (and there's almost always a coupon in the paper). Total savings could add up to almost $5, and that’s for only three of the many sales there this week.

5. LOWER YOUR ENERGY BILLS

Deal: Click here for Direct Energy’s "42 Energy Efficiency Tips." According to the web Site, “Not only can these efficiency tips save you money, but they help the environment as well.”
