Grab the Kids and Head Out Around Wilton This Weekend
This weekend with the kids, prepare lunch for sharks and get into Stepping Stones Museum for free.
Where/When: Ambler Farm in Wilton/Sunday October 2nd from noon to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Head over to Ambler Farm for a day of hay rides, children’s crafts, scarecrow making, apple sling-shooting and live music.

Where/When: Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk/Saturday October 1st. At 8:30 a.m. the 25 mile cycle ride begins and at 11:00 a.m. BooZoo’s Step and Stroll begins. At noon admission to the museum is free.
Why Go: In addition to the 25 mile cycle challenge, the Open Arms Cycling Challenge benefit will also hold a one mile BooZoo’s Step and Stroll for the entire family. Register online.
How Much: $35 for pre-registered individuals/$50 per person day of event.
Where/When: Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk/Saturday October 1st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. See website for specific activity times.
Why Go: Stepping Stone’s Day of Play will be held to encourage kids to get out and have fun while participating in physical activity.
How Much: All activities and museum entrance are free.
Where/When: The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk/Saturday October 1st at various unspecified times throughout the day.
Why Go: Get a behind the scenes look at the aquarium while learning about sharks and fish. Kids will get to measure out the shark food.
How Much: $5 plus regular admission.
Where/When: The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield/Saturday October 1st from noon to 5 p.m.
Why Go: Drop-in anytime between noon and 5 p.m. to participate in hands-on family projects fun for all age levels.
How Much: Free with admission.
