Light Snow Expected Throughout Connecticut Tuesday

Some parts of the state could see two inches of snow.

The National Weather Services expects a small accumulation of snow throughout Litchfield County, New Haven County, Fairfield County and other parts of Connecticut. The light snow, beginning early in the morning on Tuesday, is forecasted to turn into rain.

“Precipitation should change back to all snow this evening before tapering off later tonight,” said the National Weather Service in a written statement. “Total snow accumulations should range from less than an inch along the immediate coastline…to 1 to 2 inches farther inland.”
