Lincoln's Birthday: What's Open, What's Closed
The state of Connecticut observes Abraham Lincoln's birthday on Feb. 12 each year, but the federal government and Wilton town government do not; here's what's open and what's closed this day.
The 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, is a popular historical figure who's been in the news quite a bit lately.

Nearly everything else, including:

Banks, under Connecticut law, are allowed to remain open on a holiday if they notify their customers beforehand by posting information in their lobby or office. In practice, all or nearly all banks in the state are open for Lincoln's Birthday, including TD Bank, Bank of America and People's United Bank.
