If your garden has been doing as well as many have this year, you’re invited to share some of your bounty with people who’d really appreciate some home grown tomatoes, squash or other produce. The Episcopal Churches of Trumbull are hosting a Harvest Celebration and service of Thanksgiving at the Trumbull Bandstand (next to the town hall) on Sunday, Sept. 9th at 2PM. Residents of the wider Trumbull area are invited to bring produce from their gardens (or produce or canned goods from the store) to dedicate, bless and donate to the CT Food Bank. If your garden is bursting with enough cucumbers or collards or any other good thing to share, or if you would like to bring some purchased food to add to the cornucopia, please contribute to making a significant gift to people who are hungry in CT.
