Wilton Real Estate - The Market Starts to Turn

These statistics seem to suggest that we are coming out of the slump we've been in for the past few years.  Prices have at least stabilized and in some instances are starting to go up and new listings that are competitively priced are selling - frequently with multiple offers. 

No one is suggesting that this is the beginning of a return to the market conditions of 2000-2006 but with interest rates still at historic lows and inventory being fast depleted we at least have a reason to be optimistic. This is the best beginning to a spriing market we have seen in a few years, so if you have been on the sidelines or undecided as to whether or not the timing is right to buy or sell, you might want to consider starting the process.
