Connecticut Youth & Government (Wilton)

Description: Youth and Government is a unique program for teens in grades 9-12 to develop a variety of skills while learning about the legislative process. Members of this club will design legislation, debate in a committee process, follow parliamentary procedures, campaign vote in elections, explore public policy issues, and interact with lobbyists and the press.

Goal: Our goal is to prepare legislation, and teach those how to debate using the parliamentary style. 

Where: Wilton YMCA, at the Meeting House. (404 Danbury Rd  Wilton, CT 06897)

Note: (Must be a YMCA member to attend, or you can obtain a guest pass from the front desk at the YMCA).

When: Wednesdays 5pm-6pm
