Connecticut's Road to a Bright Economic Future

A discussion of “Connecticut’s Road to a Bright Economic Future” will be held at the Wilton Library’s Brubeck Room at 7:00 PM on October 10th. Presented by the Connecticut chapter of Americans for Prosperity, the presentation will discuss the current condition of our state’s economic woes; investigate the impact of debt on taxpayers and families and most important, present solutions to put our state on the road to brighter economic future. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

There has been much press coverage of Connecticut’s economic shortfalls including being the only state where the GDP shrank (U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis), the greatest 2012 workforce shrinkage (Barron’s), the worst state for retirement (Kiplinger and TopRetirement.com) and our falling to the bottom of business friendliness rankings (CNBC).

“I look forward to discussing what can be done to promote and advance economic freedom in our state,” said JR Romano, Americans for Prosperity Connecticut State Director.  “So many issues and pieces of legislation are debated without the knowledge of the public that directly impact our economic freedom.  We look forward to an interesting and educational event to discuss how to get Connecticut back on the path to economic prosperity.”
