Book event and slideshow: JFK's Secret Doctor

Local author and Wilton mom, Susan Schaller, has written under the byline of Susan E.B. Schwartz since 1991 for leading sports and adventure publications.  The recipient of several writing awards as well as the designation of Partner to the President's Council on Physical Fitness, Schaller devoted ten years of research and writing to JFK's Secret Doctor, which is now archived in the Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston. Drawing on Schaller's own background as a technical rock and ice climber, the book interweaves the two amazing true life stories of Hans Kraus, who happened to be both one of America's most exciting climbing pioneers as well as a great medical pioneer in understanding -- and curing -- back pain...and of course, President Kennedy's secret doctor.
