STRESS LESS : An 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program
Do you want to live a more engaged and balanced life? There is a way of being and doing that allows you to live life more fully through the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness is a human quality, a way of learning to pay wise attention to what is happening in the present moment, with non-judgmental awareness. There is a FREE Introduction to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program on 2/27/13 from 6:30-8:00pm presented by Sheila Wall at the The Unitarian Church in Westport, with the 8-week program following from 3/6/-4/24/13 offered for $295 (early bird registration by 2/15) or $350 thereafter. MBSR is an evidence-based, structured complementary medicine and wellness program that uses mindfulness as a way of learning to tap into your inner resources, empowering you to respond rather than react to stress, pain and illness.
