Mondays @ 7 Group to Sponsor a Presentation by Dr. Paul Maloney, entitled "Managing Interview Stress" on November 19th

November 15, 2012 – The Mondays @ 7 job networking organization will sponsor a presentation by Dr. Paul Maloney, Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Applied Psychology Program at the Fairfield University Graduate School.  Dr. Maloney’s presentation will focus on different kinds of stress, their impact on performance, and techniques for reducing stress in the interview. It will examine what can be done before, during, and after the interview and discuss some practices for developing resilience.


 
 Dr. Maloney received his Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of Virginia and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.  He also has an independent consulting practice, serving the needs a full range of organizations including many Fortune 500 companies. His presentation will occur at the Westport United Methodist Church, 49 Weston Road in Westport  (Exit 42 off the Merritt Parkway.)
