Wilton Singers 3rd annual Christmas Feast and “Noel” concert set for Fri/Sat, December 7th and 8th at WEPCO Complex
The Wilton Singers will launch its 30th anniversary season with the ensemble’s third annual gala Christmas Feast and “Noel!” concert. The elegant dinner and music event will be held Friday and Saturday nights, December 7 and 8, at the WEPCO Complex at 48 New Canaan Road. Doors will open at 6:45 pm and the program will begin at 7 pm.
The music program will include a number of familiar Christmastime favorites, including “Sleigh Ride,” “Carol of the Bells” and a jazzy rendition of “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
To help celebrate the group’s 30th anniversary, the Wilton Singers will also perform the world premiere of “A Field of White”, written by Connecticut composer, Amy Bernon. It is a work commissioned by the Wilton Singers for this occasion. The Singers themselves will be under the direction of Patrick Taylor, now in his fourth year with the organization.
The evening’s elegant meal will bring back Jerry Reveron to the feast kitchen. Chef Reveron served as chef for 15 of the Wilton Singers’ 26 feasts. Since then, he has gone on to win a number of major culinary awards, including the 2007 Connecticut Restaurateur of the Year. His restaurant, the Woodward House, in Bethlehem, CT, received a four-star rating by the NY Times. Jerry is now head chef at Taft School in Waterbury, CT.
Teaming up with the Wilton Singers will be the award-winning Wilton High School Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Betsey deGroff. In addition, groups of strolling carolers will be on hand to entertain the diners throughout the evening.

Wilton Singers president Jean Caffrey noted that “feast-goers are encouraged to bring their own liquid refreshments.”

Proceeds from this and other Wilton Singers concerts go to support the Wilton Singers Scholarship Fund.
