Gina Pin to Enlighten the Mondays @ 7 Group on Resiliency – What it is, How to Get it and How to Keep it.

October
12, 2013 -- The Mondays @ 7 Group will sponsor a presentation, October 14,
2013, by Gina Pin, Assistant Principal of Joel Barlow High School in Redding,
CT. Resiliency is an overused term today. Whether you call “grit” or “perseverance,”
an understanding of how to nurture these emotional intelligence skills can
reshape the way we handle stress.  In
long periods of transition, resiliency will sustain job seekers.

Gina has fifteen years of teaching experience as
private tutor and teaching at the middle and high school levels.  She has worked within the Ridgefield and Easton/Redding
public school systems. Ms. Pin holds B.S. degrees in elementary education and
special education from the University of Maine, an M.S. in Counseling Education
from Western CT State University and is a Doctoral Student in Educational
Leadership at Manhattanville College.

The public is invited to attend.  For further information, contact Ed Thomas at
