Joanna M. Leone, 1/17/14 Norwalk Guest Speaker

Joanna M. Leone,  Connecticut author of "Slices of Life Italian-American Stories" will share her book at an AuthorSpeak program at the Norwalk Public Library, located on 1 Belden Ave, Norwalk, CT on Friday, January 17th, 2014 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. ( Snow date is Friday, January 24th from 12:00pm-1:00pm) . The AuthorSpeak  series  is designed to provide readers and authors an opportunity to meet, talk about their recently published books and share their thoughts, ideas and experiences.  

Joanna looks forward to talking about Italian-Americans who shared their memories about family, love, devotion, struggle, traditions, celebrations and romance.    
 
On a winter afternoon, your heart will be warmed by the memoirs contained in her book.  It will trigger your own special memories.  Most of all, Leone looks forward to everyone opening up their hearts that day and hearing about your own memories which are tucked away in your hearts.
 
Enjoy a  light lunch which will be provided by the Norwalk Public Library.  You will enjoy  soup, salad, bread, dessert,  and coffee compliments of the Norwalk Public Library.   Leone will bring Italian cookies from a local bakery for all to enjoy along with free bookmarks!
